YOU are Loved

In my previous blog, "A Glimpse of Heaven Through the Eyes of My Daughter", I dove right into it. I want everyone to know that Jesus is real. Heaven is real. Angels are real. That God loves us so much, that he never leaves us even in our time of passing. God loves and is love.

Just take a moment and think about that.

There is a good, loving, kind, grace-filled God who ADORES US; his very own children.

Yes! You are his precious child and he loves you and I more than we can understand.

Tomorrow is Valentines Day and there's talk of love everywhere. We use the term "love" in a million different ways for all sorts of things (I love my family, I love my dog, I love shopping, I love my morning cup of coffee, and so on but "love" takes on different meanings for each of those things doesn't it?)

The purest definition of LOVE is God and the love that he gives to us.

We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love he has for us. God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them. 1 John 4:16 The Passion Translation

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails... 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NIV

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 is such an amazing passage because it describes the character of God. Love.

YOU are loved by God.

YOU are important to him.

YOU are not alone.

This Valentines Day, whether you are in a loving relationship or not, continue to trust in the love God has for you. After all, it's the only love that will last forever.

There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! Romans 8:39 The Passion Translation

YOU are loved.

Not feeling loved? Ask Jesus to surround you and wrap his loving presence around you and then wait. Yes, wait for it. You'll feel it. He might stir a memory, a scent, or a tangible warmth within. I don't know how he'll show you, but he will. He is always here. Love never fails.
