There is a Physical Connection to Your Spiritual Passion: God's Manifest Power in Your Life

Have you ever noticed there are patterns, little nuances , or quirks about yourself that you've often wondered why you care about the things you do? Or maybe you've never really paid attention to these things and this is the first time you've ever considered this for your life.

I think because I'm over 50 now (and that's not a bad thing!) that I'm reflecting more and more on the "why" in my life and it's led me to an "Ah-Ha" moment. -that there is a physical connection to your spiritual passion and when those two things intersect, you see God's manifest power in your life.

Wait, what?! Yes! It's true! God shows up in a way that only he can. He makes the difficult situations and the impossible circumstances turn around! When you discover the patterns in your life, you'll see where God has stepped in for you.

I need to start off by saying that I'm not a psychologist so please know that this is just me telling my story, and the only research is through personal introspection and Holy Spirit guidance. That being said......one of the little things that I've noticed about myself is that lost things come back to me!

When I say "things" I'm talking mainly wallets and sunglasses. -how funny, I literally just realized that as I'm writing this blog!

From what I can remember it began around 2003 when my tiny pink beaded wallet was lost in a field that my husband and I parked in for an event. We drove 45 min home in the dark until I realized it was missing. We both got out of the car and searched everywhere. -this was a super clean two door Acura with leather seats. We found nothing. I persuaded my husband to drive back to the venue (praying the whole time that we'd find it) and even though it was completely dark, a gate was still open. We drove off of the gravel drive into the field hoping that we could find the area we had parked in. There wasn't any kind of marking in this field, just grass everywhere. We left the headlights on and tried searching the field when another set of headlights appeared in the distance. As the headlights approached we realized that it was someone in a Volkswagen beetle. The man got out of his car and about the same time I was back searching around the open passenger door, I heard a thud, and at my feet was the pink beaded wallet! The man asked if we were ok and we explained why we were there and then told him we just found the wallet. -It just fell from thin air! We also told him how we couldn't believe that the gate was still open for us to drive in and he replied, "just for you!" My husband and I were so stunned by finding the wallet that we didn't really take in all that was happening. We asked him how to get back to the freeway and he gave us directions. Then he turned his car around and drove back in the direction he had come from through the field. We watched as his lights disappeared. -just to let you know there wasn't any road connecting to this venue. It was surrounded by a fence and there weren't any buildings on the property with lights on and no houses. It was as if he disappeared!

That experience bolstered my faith to believe for lost items, especially wallets. The next time something went missing was my designer sunglasses, again same story, searched the car and found nothing until a week later they showed up in the car.

Another time my daughter lost her wallet in another town 3 hours away and a couple of months later it appeared in our garage in a drawer.

A few years later my husband lost his wallet at a lake with a lodge on the property (again about 3 hours away) and no one could find it. I told him that it was going to show up, I just knew it because God had done it before, so he could do it again! Sure enough, a week later it showed up in our flower pot on the deck just outside our back door! -I had been watering those pots all week and suddenly it was there!

At this point I'm even more built up in my faith so the next time something goes missing, it was my friend's designer sunglasses. She was sure that she left them on the table when her and her husband had gone out to dinner. Her sunglasses had her prescription in them, so she really needed those back! I don't know why I did this at the time, but I just blurted out, "I call those sunglasses back to (her name here) in Jesus name. Amen." -I kind of surprised myself because I didn't expect to be so bold! Well, guess what?! A few days later she found them in her house!

I've realized that I've always had a passion for the spiritually lost but I never noticed the pattern; the signs, over the years that there is a physical connection to my spiritual passion.
